For a moment there I thought with a name like Infinite Flux they were gonna' be some god awful post-rock band. Rest easy brothers and sisters of the congregation what we have here is in fact a stoner doom metal riff fest.... Excellent
Favorite track: Ashes.
All of Goya's releases are excellent. I don't know the how or why, but Obelisk towers above all, the apotheosis of their career to date. It is music with which the listener becomes one, a heavy and layered sound invoking the darkest psychedelic psychosis of unconscious desires. The lyrics are dark and taboo, somewhere between Hüsker Dü's Diane and Slayer's Beauty Through Order/Playing with Dolls. Witchcult Today era EW is an obvious ref, both music and vocals, but Goya are way beyond pastiche. Master of Alchemy
Holy smite. Phew. Umm.. Could I hear the album just once more?
Simply mesmerizing, which ends far too quickly, if judging by accounting mere experience. .flac on loop does not disappoint my fellow stoners. I really don't have anything sensible to say. I'll just hit play again. Cheerio. modifier
I was introduced to Disenchanter by the Maryland Doomfest, and since then, they've become one of my favorite bands from the doom scene, and also they're the nicest people on the planet! Much love!! Dr Gonzo
